Founded in 1987 as CompuMentor, TechSoup Global is a recognised leader in bringing technological empowerment and philanthropy to social benefit organizations- including nonprofits, nongovernmental organizations, libraries and other social change agents.

Over the past two decades, TechSoup Global's innovative programs have supported social benefit organisations on the international, national, and the local level. The TechSoup Global Network

TechSoup Global Network (Of which Connecting Up Australia/DonorTec are a part of) helps social benefit organisations and charities outside the U.S. obtain donations of essential technology products, information and services. It currently serves Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Botswana, Ireland, Hungary, India, Hong Kong, France, Chile, Germany, Ireland, Macau, and Taiwan as of May 2009, and is projected to expand to 60 countries by 2012.
