SlideRocket Pro 1-Year Subscription

SlideRocket is a web-based service for creating, managing, and sharing online multimedia slideshow presentations. SlideRocket's drag-and-drop authoring tools and customisable presentation templates allow users to create presentations from scratch within any web browser. Users can also import and modify an existing PowerPoint slide deck or Google Docs presentation.

Presentations and related assets are stored online on SlideRocket's secure servers and can be accessed and modified from any Internet-connected device by their creators as well as by other users on the same SlideRocket account. Users can share presentations online by publishing them to a public or password-protected URL, embedding them in an existing website or blog, or inviting others to view them directly. SlideRocket also keeps track of viewer data and provides analytics tools that allow users to measure their presentation's effectiveness.

This donation consists of a one-year user subscription for a SlideRocket Pro account. organisations can request up to two donations of this product and then add more user subscriptions by requesting the SlideRocket Pro 1-Year Subscription, Additional User, product. All user subscriptions must be used with the same SlideRocket Pro account, and that account must be set up through a donation of this product.

The account includes 1 GB of storage per user, shared between all users, and supports importing files up to 200 MB in size.

SlideRocket's authoring tools let users create and add shapes, charts, tables, forms, polls, and other visuals and interactive elements to their slides. Users can also add content in the following ways:

• Audio narration: Users can add voice-over narration to each slide by recording audio directly within the SlideRocket interface or uploading prerecorded audio files. Individual slide animations can be synced with a slide's narration using SlideRocket's visual timeline. A single audio file can also be played once or repeated over an entire presentation.
• Video and other media content: Users can upload a variety of file types to their SlideRocket library for inclusion in their presentations. SlideRocket automatically converts the files to web-supported formats: PowerPoint (.ppt, .pps), images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif), Flash (.swf), audio (.mp3), and video (.flv, .mp4, .mov, .avi, .wmv, .mpg, .mpeg, .asf, .3gp, .m4v, and .vob).
• Web content: Users can embed videos from YouTube, images from Flickr, or live polls from Poll Everywhere directly into a presentation. Presentations can also include live data from Google Docs spreadsheets or from Twitter search feeds and stock quotes that are updated in real time during a presentation. (Live web content is not supported when presentations are viewed offline)
• Interactive elements: Presentation creators can allow viewers to make comments on each slide or include single-question polls and text forms for viewers to write responses. Creators can be notified when a viewer answers a form or poll, and all answers are tallied and reported in the SlideRocket interface.

Presentations can also be delivered as web meetings with up to 25 participants (participants don't need SlideRocket accounts). For presenting offline, slideshows can be exported as PDF files, PowerPoint files, or standalone executable files that can be played back on either a PC or a Mac without additional software. Viewers can also download the SlideRocket Desktop Presenter, a free application that can automatically download presentations from a SlideRocket account so that they can be viewed offline.

Previewing SlideRocket

Organisations can preview SlideRocket by taking an interactive tour or watching a video preview on the SlideRocket website. SlideRocket asks that potential donation recipients not sign up for the free Lite version or free trial on their site because organisations that request this product through DonorTec will be required to create a new SlideRocket account.

Continuing Services After One Year

At the end of the year of this user subscription, organisations can renew it by requesting another user subscription through DonorTec or else simply allow it to expire.
