DonorTec is proud to start off 2010 with an exciting new look website with enhanced navigation and help and support menus. We have also changed the URL to www.donortec.org This is just one the exciting new developments that will be occurring as we move in to the new decade. Inclusive DonorTec eligibility criteria will excite many nonprofits that may not have previously been able to access the program. On the back of the most successful year to date for the DonorTec Program, with well in excess of 7500 nonprofits now registered and over 2200 donation requests processed in 2009 alone, 2010 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the Australian nonprofit sector.

This year will see the addition of more partners and products, a refurbished personal computer program and you may even hear from DonorTec via one of your favourite community radio stations. We are certainly refreshed and excited to be serving you into 2010 and beyond.

After such an amazing response to our last competition DonorTec is hoping for a similar response as it announces its first competition of the year. To enter our new “Tell us your story” competition all you need to do is submit to us something that explains how the products you have received from DonorTec have impacted your organisation and how this has benefitted the community your organisation serves. Your case study may be print based or for those with the necessary means, you may wish to submit a digital story that uses images, text, music and/or voice. A very helpful and easy to use application that may help you to do this If it isn’t already an application on your computer is Windows Live Movie Maker that can be downloaded at http://download.live.com/moviemaker. 

The winning submission will be highlighted as a good news story in the next DonorTec publication as well as being given a choice of prizes.
