Office 2003 makes way for Office
2010
|
|
You may have already
heard that
Microsoft Office 2010 is launching soon. You will be pleased to know
this suite should be available to all eligible DonorTec members in
June. We have also been advised today that Microsoft are no longer
offering Office 2003 products through DonorTec. That being said if you
need Office 2003 for compatibility with an older system, you may be
able to request a downgrade through Volume Licensing so make sure you

Your
questions
answered
Q. I have
received my
one set of Microsoft media disks for the product I ordered but is there
a way I can get more copies?
A.
Yes. Please see the
following link that will include
a step by step guide on how to download (with screenshots included) the
product you need.
Q. Can I use
Microsoft
donated software for personal use?
A.
It is one of Microsoft’s licensing conditions that
donated licensed products may be used only by and for the benefit of an
eligible charitable organisation. All licenses donated via DonorTec are
non transferable which means they must remain the property of the
organisation that ordered them. If the software to be installed is
predominantly for private use unfortunately you will not be able to
install it on any member’s computers however charitable your
intentions.
How
would you like
your organisation to be promoted in a case study?
How
many of you have implemented DonorTec donated or discounted software
and have been pleased with the result? Would you like your organisation
to be promoted in one of our newsletters?
All
we need you to do is send an email to support@donortec.org
stating your organisation name, products you have received and the
name, email address and phone number of the person who you would like
us to contact about how your organisation has benefited. Please entitle
the email with the name of the relevant partner/s (eg Sophos,
Newsmaker, GiftWorks etc) from which your organisation has procured
products.
Are
you registered
with DonorTec?
You
have received this important update because you are on our mailing list
but have you checked to see whether or not your nonprofit is registered
to place donation and discount requests via DonorTec?
We
don’t want you to miss out on products and services from
companies like Microsoft, Symantec, Sophos and Cisco so if you have any
queries contact
us
or simply register
now.
