Ask Ryan

Ryan JonesWelcome to this fortnight's DonorTec newsletter. This issue we're trying something a little different, and 'the new guy' has been let loose on the newsletter.

My name is Ryan, and I've now been at Connecting Up Australia for a week. My background is in marketing, media, motorsport and movies, and most recently I have worked producing live internet broadcasts and TV coverage for motorsport.

As such I was pleasantly surprised to find a DonorTec partner specialising in online broadcasting, Redback Conferencing. I have seen firsthand the power of this technology, connecting people across the world when it would previously have been unviable. Whether it is making it possible for housebound people to communicate with carers or broadcasting special events internationally, this technology is extremely powerful and becoming easier to use and substantially cheaper.

The potential of this technology is limited only by your imagination, and it can be used to help you connect with those who really need it, or to broadcast the great work that your nonprofit is doing.

Please enjoy this issue of DonorTec News, and if you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact us or myself personally at rj@donortec.org.
