Your Questions Answered
Why can’t I access the Volume Licence Keys for the software donated to me through DonorTec?
If you have followed the sequential instructions to retrieve your Microsoft Volume Licence Keys from your Microsoft e-Open Licensing Confirmation Email but the key you need is not displayed on your Product Keys Page, please see step by step pdf guide.
If the volume licence keys are still not displayed for all of your ordered products and you know they require a licence key please call the Microsoft Activation Centre on 1800 642 008 ensuring you have your authorisation and licence numbers from the licensing email sent to you from Microsoft.
To see if these products require a licence key please see click here.
If the Client Access Licenses (CALs) are not listed on volume license page on your eopen account you will need to call the Microsoft Activation Centre on 1800 642 008 and ready to quote your licence and authorisation numbers.
I have placed 2 Microsoft orders over the past two years. When can I order again?
Once your organisation passes the 2 year anniversary date of its initial order your account is automatically reset so that you can again order up to 6 titles and 50 licenses per title for the ensuing 2 year period. This will happen every 2 years to allow your organisation to use the latest technology offerings from Microsoft.
11 Take Home Tips from NTC09 on How to Increase Traffic to Your Website
Some of the staff here at Connecting Up Australia have recently returned from a trip to San Francisco where they attended an annual Nonprofit Technology Conference hosted by Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) http://www.nten.org/ntc Apart from receiving some of the greatest hospitality the US had to offer, our staff were afforded the opportunity to hear great minds illuminate some very real technology issues facing the world.
We heard Clay Shirky http://www.shirky.com/ a futurist, talk about the power of social media and the impact it will have on how we communicate in the coming years, and Eben Moglen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eben_Moglen a computer programming language designer come crusader for free software, talk about the issues arising from free as opposed to proprietary software usage.
Not only did these speakers inspire great debate on such issues, there were many other motivating speakers in the breakout sessions. These speakers provided not just philosophical viewpoints and discussion topics, but excellent ideas and practices for nonprofits to employ on return to their day jobs.
