Capacity Building Competition
To date we have received a number of entries for DonorTec’s latest Capacity Building Competition. It is great to see the impact our donations program is having across the country but we are sure there are more of you who have yet to tell your story.  For your chance to win a prize AND gain sought after exposure for your nonprofit all you need to do is submit a case study explaining how DonorTec has impacted your organisation and the benefits this may have had for the community your organisation serves. And don’t forget, the winning submission will be highlighted as a good news story for the next DonorTec publication – going out to over 30 000 email addresses!

Windows Server 2008 May Be The Answer
Although Microsoft has donated over 700 Windows Server products via DonorTec since the inception of the program two years ago, we believe this figure should be higher. This is why we have dedicated an article to DonorTec’s latest offering in the Windows Server Series – Windows Server 2008. We would like to let you know how the most advanced Windows Server operating system yet can open the realms of possibility for your nonprofit.

Windows Server 2008 is designed to power the next-generation of networks, applications, and web services. With Windows Server 2008 you can develop, deliver, and manage rich user experiences and applications, provide a highly secure network infrastructure, and increase technological efficiency and value within your organisation.

Windows Server 2008 builds on the success and strengths of its Windows Server predecessors while delivering valuable new functionality and powerful improvements to the base operating system. New web tools, virtualization technologies, security enhancements, and management utilities help save time, reduce costs, and provide a solid foundation for your information technology (IT) infrastructure.

It does not matter whether you have had little to no experience with this product. Learn how Windows Server 2008 can work for you: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/product-information.aspx

How Do I Add my Nonprofit to DonorTec’s Supporters Page?

Some time ago DonorTec introduced a Supporters Page on our website http://www.donortec.com.au/supporters to reciprocate the good will many organisations have shown us since the inception of the DonorTec Program in 2007. We have had a number of organisations respond to our first call for supporters and would like to add more.
If your organisation actively promotes the DonorTec Program to your networks we would like to add your details to our page.

If you would like your organisation added to our supporters page we will require:

  • Your organisation’s logo
  • Your organisation’s website URL
  • A short blurb on the purpose and activities of your organisation
  • Information on how you have supported us – please include the type of media promotion (excluding word of mouth): eg e-publication, print newsletter, editorial, radio or television program, conference speaker, flyer, magazine article etc
  • If you wish to promote DonorTec’s services further we have created specifically designed pages to help you do so at Help Us Promote
Please respond to our request at donations@donortec.com.au and we thank you for your continued support.
