Microsoft Donation Program made easier!

Microsoft Donation Program

You may have heard recently that there have been some updates to the Microsoft donation program that are designed to make it easier for your organisation to get the Microsoft products they need, when they need them.

In a nutshell, the changes are:

  • Your Microsoft ordering limits were reset as of July 27, allowing you to request up to 50 licences from up to 10 different title groups in a 2 year period.
  • You can now request Microsoft products as needed, not just once per year.
  • There is no longer a 'five seat minimum', so you can now order as little as one licence at a time.
  • Microsoft has added a number of new products, including Microsoft's Get Genuine complete Windows 7 operating systems.
  • There is a new Microsoft Donation Centre to help you keep track of what your organisation has received, what remains of your software allotment, and when your two year cycle resets.

Ask Ryan

I'm tired. The Connecting Up team are entering this year's City to Bay fun run in Adelaide in September, and I figured it would be a good idea to start training. With less than a month before the event.

So it's been a hard week this week getting into a form of training I've never really done, with my morning 6km walk to work. Being particularly unfit, my legs and feet have taken the bulk of the punishment, but it is getting easier!

If you're entering the City to Bay, why not let us know on Twitter, and let us know how your training is going?

If you have any questions, email me!
