Microsoft System Center Client Management Suite OSE ML (Includes Software Assurance)

This client management license suite allows one nonserver device to be managed by a set of System Centre server technologies. If a device has multiple operating system environments (OSEs), a separate client management license suite is necessary for each OSE.

The suite contains the following licenses:

Note: With the release of Microsoft System Centre Data Protection Manager 2010, all Microsoft Data Protection Manager MLs now include the Microsoft Data Protection Manager server software and license. Organizations can use this software and license to run only one instance of Microsoft Data Protection Manager server, even if they request more than one Microsoft Data Protection Manager management license.

A User management license suite is also available. The User management license suite allows any number of nonserver OSEs to be to be managed by the same Microsoft System Center server technologies as the OSE management license suite, as long as only one user has access to them. If more than one user has access to a certain OSE or set of OSEs, a client ML suite is necessary for each user.

Server management license suites are also available. A server management license suite is required for each server device managed by the applicable Microsoft System Center technologies.

Acquiring the Installation Media and License Key: Management licenses do not require media, license keys, or setup codes. Installation media for DPM server software will be shipped to you free of charge.

Note: Although organizations can request multiple management licenses, they will be licensed for only one Microsoft Data Protection Manager server installation.

Software Assurance: Under the Software Assurance program, you have the right to install any new release of products covered in the agreement during the term of your coverage.
