With Project Professional 2007 project management software, managers can stay informed and control project work, schedules, and finances; keep project teams aligned; and be more productive through powerful reporting, guided planning, and flexible tools. Among the additions to the 2007 version are report templates; Visual Reports, for producing charts and diagrams in both Excel and Visio; the Cost resource type; and the Task Driver pane, which shows prerequisites and constraints for a selected task. This product can be used independently or integrated with Project Server 2007, Project Web Access, and optionally Project Portfolio Server as the Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution. Organizations that do not need server connectivity or EPM should consider using Project Standard 2007.

Any application that accesses the services of Project Server requires a Project Server client access license (CAL). Project Professional 2007 comes with one CAL. This CAL can be used to access the server either directly or through Project Web Access, the Project Server Web client.

Installing this product requires a license key and installation media. After your order is processed, instructions for obtaining the license key will be sent to your organization email address and the media will be shipped to the shipping address.
