Microsoft Exchange Server Device CAL - Enterprise (Includes Software Assurance)

This Microsoft Exchange Server Enterprise Device Client Access Licence (CAL) can be used only in conjunction with a Microsoft Exchange Server Standard Device CAL. It allows one computer or other device to access certain Microsoft Exchange Server features regardless of the number of users (for example, on a shared workstation).

The features licenced through the Microsoft Exchange Server Enterprise Device CAL include:

Caution: This CAL does not provide access to Microsoft hosted services — Microsoft Forefront Online Protection for Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Forefront Protection 2010 for Microsoft Exchange Server.

This CAL works with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Standard and Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise, as well as previous versions of Microsoft Exchange Server.

Microsoft Exchange Server Enterprise User CALs are also available. A Microsoft Exchange Server Enterprise User CAL authorises one user to access Microsoft Exchange Server's additional features on any number of computers or other devices (for example, when an employee accesses the server from a computer at work and another at home).
