Microsoft Essential Business Server Single Premium User CAL

This user client access license (CAL) permits one user (using any device) to access all the services and technologies of Essential Business Server 2008 Premium Edition, Microsoft's bundle of enterprise-level server applications and services for 300 users or fewer.

User CALs are most effective when an employee uses several devices to access the server, such as a work computer and a home computer. Device CALs are also available. With device CALs, any user can access the server on the licensed device.

This premium CAL is required only if a user needs access to the applications exclusive to Essential Business Server 2008 Premium Edition that optionally run on an additional database server; otherwise, a nonpremium Essential Business Server CAL may be used.

This CAL can also be used to access instances of Exchange Server 2007, SQL Server 2008, or any other Windows servers within the Essential Business Server 2008 domain.
