Downloading and Installing Your Mailshell Anti-Spam Desktop Product

Step 1: Download the Installer

Please select the version of Mailshell Anti-Spam Desktop you wish to download. (Note: If you have ordered more than one copy, you may select a different version for your next installation.)

Mailshell Anti-Spam Universal Edition (Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP)
Supports Eudora, Netscape Messenger and most POP email clients.

OR

Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook Edition (Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP)
Supports Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002, Outlook 2003, and Outlook 2007 only.
AOL Supported.
Does not work with Outlook Express. Outlook Express users, please choose the Outlook Express Edition.

OR

Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook Express Edition (Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT/XP)
Supports Outlook Express.

Step 2: Run the Installer

Close all programs, especially the mail client. Run the downloaded Mailshell Anti-Spam program on your hard disk to start the setup process. If you are running Windows 2000, NT, or XP, make sure that you are logged in with administrator rights to install programs on your computer. Follow the setup instructions on the screen to continue installation.

Step 3: Enter the Registration Key

Your email from TechSoup Stock should contain a set of registration keys. Each installation of Mailshell Anti-Spam on an individual machine requires a different key.

Universal
Activate Mailshell Anti-Spam by entering your registration key in the pop-up window when prompted. Complete installation by clicking the "Start Service" button.

Outlook/Outlook Express
Restart Outlook and enter the registration key when prompted.

Step 4: Configure Email Client

Instructions for configuration and use can be found in the Universal Edition FAQ or the Outlook Edition FAQ.
