The SR520-ADSL-K9 is one of the 520 Series of simplified, secure routers capable of supporting up to 50 users, making it ideal for small organizations. It accepts an asymmetric DSL (ADSL) over basic telephone service (POTS) connection and provides secure access to the Internet and the organization's network through four 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet WAN ports and remote access via virtual private network (VPN) connections.

The router provides comprehensive security through an intrusion prevention system (IPS) firewall and a stateful packet inspection (SPI) firewall. It also provides dynamic routing and advanced quality of service (QoS) features.

The Cisco Configuration Assistant simplifies deployment, management, and troubleshooting.

The four-port 10/100 Mbps managed switch provides connections for multiple devices and has the ability to designate a port as the network demilitarized zone (DMZ). Virtual LAN (VLAN) support allows computers to be moved to another location without reconfiguration.

For SSL VPN functionality, organizations should request a 10-user SSL VPN license pack along with this product. Organizations might also want to request a 1-year subscription to Cisco IOS Content Filtering for enhanced defense against malware and phishing attacks.
