Symantec System Recovery Small Business Server Edition 2011 is a backup and recovery solution that uses disk imaging technology to protect Microsoft Small Business Server systems. If a disaster renders an organisation's servers completely inoperable, Symantec System Recovery lets the organisation quickly restore the entire system or just individual files and folders.

Saving Recovery Points

Symantec System Recovery takes snapshots of the entire hard disk while the system is online. These snapshots are called recovery points. Organisations can create them as needed or schedule them to be created automatically.

Recovery points can be saved to almost any type of popular storage media, including NAS, SAN, USB drive, FireWire drive, CD, and DVD.
