Windows 7 Special Offer Extended till June 30
In conjunction with the release of Windows 7 Microsoft is allowing eligible nonprofits to place an extra donation request via DonorTec for Windows 7 and/or Windows Vista products between 22 October 2009 and 30 June 2010.
If your organisation has not yet ordered the maximum Microsoft entitlement of 6 titles and 50 licences per title limit over your 2 year ordering cycle OR has ordered Microsoft products inside the last 12 months then you may be eligible to receive an upgrade to Microsoft’s latest operating system.
Please note this special offer does not apply to organisations qualified to place Microsoft orders that have yet to place an order.
Guidelines
- IMPORTANT: Extra requests can contain only Windows 7 or Windows Vista or both. If a request includes anything more than Windows 7 or Windows Vista, it will be processed as a regular donation request and will count as an organisation's Microsoft order for the existing 12 month cycle.
- Extra requests can be placed only from 22 October 2009 to 30 June 2010. Organisations may only place 1 extra request in this time.
- Extra requests may not exceed the allowed 6 title and 50 licenses per title maximum over a 2 year cycle. For example:
- If an organisation has already received 4 Microsoft titles and none of them was Windows Vista, its extra request can include up to 50 licenses for both Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
- If an organisation has already received 25 licenses for 64-bit Vista Business plus five other Microsoft titles, its extra request can include up to 25 licenses for 64-bit Vista Business, but it cannot include Windows 7.
- If an organisation has already received 10 licenses for 32-bit Windows 7 Professional, its extra request could include up to 40 licenses for 32-bit Windows 7 Professional.
- If an organisation has already received 5 titles and none of them were Windows Vista, it may order up to 50 licenses only of Windows Vista or Windows 7 but not both.
- If an organisation has already received 6 titles and which included 30 licenses of Windows Vista its extra request could include up to 20 licenses of Windows Vista (to reach maximum of 50)
